Fantastic food and dining experience at this all vegan restaurant. The menu was so well explained and diverse that we were all really exciting order something new, with familiar ingredients. My friend had the grilled aubergine with tofu, delicious, I had the sizzling tofu and mushrooms, so flavoursome and my other friend got a crispy mixed bowl (can't remember the name) again, delicious! We were so impressed! We got to choose noodle or rice sides and we got a starter of fried tofu and the vegan sesame crackers. Everything was well presented and truly delicious. I can't wait to return! Our servers were all friendly and helpful, we had Vietnamese beers and table water and I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Easy to find, accessible with local transport. Don't miss Sen Viet and the wonderful flavours within!!
This was our second time dinning here because the food is amazing! It's very tasty and SO filling which is not the case for every vegan restaurant. I highly recommend it.
BUT, unfortunately, I can not put 5 stars because the music was absolutely terrible. No one goes to a nice Vietnamese restaurant to listen to 1h30 of annoying and loud reggaeton/Latino music (with Youtube ads). It's a restaurant not a cheap night club!
Also our waiter was nonchalantly chewing gum when taking our order (basic manners?) and he was wearing a VERY strong perfume which is acceptable in a High School changing room but not in a restaurant setting (should be common sense because everyone knows taste and smell are closely linked).
We'll probably just order or take away next time...
(photos are from our first time here)
I have visited here a couple times in the past two months and I don't know why I've never visited sooner!
As a veggie, I am always so grateful when there is a restaurant dedicated to veggie food, especially when it is Asian food which seems to be the only food I like.
I have tried a few pho's in my time however never really liked it as the veggie options lack flavour however the vegan pho here is unreal. It is packed full of warming flavours and the tofu inside it is amazing.
The tofu and mushroom sizzling is full of flavour, with plenty of pieces of tofu and other vegetables and a good level of spice which goes perfectly with rice.
The tofu and mix veg clay pot is also great and full of flavour.
The tofu summer rolls are so fresh and flavourful, and the tofu inside is slightly fried so adds a different texture to it. The accompanied sauce dip is also delicious.
The crispy spring rolls are good although quite big so great for sharing.
The ha long fried cakes are a lovely texture, crispy on the outside then soft bouncy soy protein on the inside.
My partner, who is of Vietnamese descent, says although the menu contains zero meat, the flavours are pretty close to the real deal.
The service is also fast, and the young gentleman who served us the last time we were there was very friendly and welcoming.
